Cake smash sessions can be pretty fun…and cake smash sessions times two are even more fun! L is almost 2 and his baby sister S is almost 1 – so I was asked to photograph them in all their cake eating glory… I wish we’d run video of this whole event. When mom put down the cake, [...] [...] Obviously my favorite kids are my kids, but my next favorite kids are my sister’s kids. S is 9, L is 5 (with a loose tooth!), the other L is 3, and baby C is three months. The best part about taking these pictures is that I know what I’m getting my sister for Christmas this [...] [...] I met my match with this session. And I can only say that because these are my friend’s kids :-) These cute kids are classmates of my kids (well, big brother was at the same school, but he’s a big kindergartener now!). The youngest is my son’s age and I’ve never had a more camera-shy [...] [...] N & P welcomed a little sister last week! How cute is it that N had a sailor dress for her and a matching one for her doll…that happened to fit her new sister? P will have his work cut out for him, keeping the boys away from his sweet little sisters! N is a [...] [...] In the busy that is my August, I neglected to post this session of these three sweet girls! M is three, and the twins, I & J, were turning one. Mom wanted some good pictures of the girls, and a couple of family shots. You know I was loving it when the broke out the [...] [...] Another Hen/Fish sneak peek :-) These cute kids were my models last week. I shot in the Arboretum for the first time as a “professional” and it was a great location. I’m doing an engagement session there later this week – I am so excited! (I’ve known this kid since he was a baby and never [...] [...] I got to take pictures of these sweet kids again yesterday (first time was last fall) – have you EVER seen more gorgeous blue eyes? I love when I get pictures that always make me laugh – and this one is the winner from yesterday. Apparently she took my “don’t smile” instructions very seriously… [...] [...] My very overdue sneak peek for some very patient parents. I’ve known Jef & Monica for years (from back in my rink rat days!) and small world that it is, we ended up having kids in the same daycare/preschool :-) They recently added boy-girl twins to their family, so I was asked to take some updated [...] [...] #22 is an old hockey buddy of mine, and thus I don’t really know her by her real name, just her jersey number :-) Anywho – Deanne and her husband have some cute kids, and they were HUGE fans of the Atomic Fart application on my iPhone.
