I am sooooooo far behind blogging about all the sessions I had this fall. And I am bad in that I don’t blog every session I do just because life gets in the way. But I had to blog about this one. I was contacted to do a large family session. They were the very last [...] [...] It is always fun when families bring their dogs to their family photo sessions…especially when it’s a bulldog named Tiny. We headed to the local metropark and took advantage of a perfect summer morning to get these beautiful portraits. These girls were so awesome and smiley and took direction so well – it was so [...] [...] On a muggy mosquito-y summer morning, we headed to my favorite barn for a family session with these two cute kids and their parents. D was a little grumpy (and the bugs didn’t help!) but I still love this mini-stink face he’s giving me here. His big sister was so fun and loved being in [...] [...] Mom is one of my dear friends (part of the group I inherited when I met my husband!) and I was happy that she asked me to photograph her family. I am cracking up looking at these pictures here – because I always thought her son looked like her but this first picture it is [...] [...] This cute little boy is one of my daughter’s classmates, and I was excited to take pictures of him & his big sister. We did their session in their backyard, which has a stream running through it and was a gorgeous backdrop! You gotta love the “pretend like you love each other” pose in this [...] [...] This is from another surprise Father’s Day session last month. Mom wasn’t sure she would be able to keep it a secret until Father’s Day…and she was right. She ended up giving them to dad as a birthday present the week before Father’s Day :-) Anyway – these kids were awesome. Big brother L was all [...] [...] This was the second time I had the pleasure of photographing this adorable family. E & G just celebrated their first birthday – and they could not have been more different. While G was full of smiles & giggles, his sister E was having NOTHING to do with me and my camera but she warmed [...] [...] If you are a fan of my Facebook page, you probably saw my post this past weekend about an outdoor session I had in the freezing cold.
