I had the most wonderful time with all of my fall 2012 session clients! So many adorable kids to get to know and the fun challenge of capturing them just how their parents see them every single day. It really is so great!

Sometimes it’s hard to photograph kids that you see a lot (like how it’s so hard to photograph your own kids), and these kids see me all the time so I had to come up with some new tricks! But they are very sweet and I just loved the images I was able to capture for my good friend. Nothing like perfect sunset on a summer evening!!

I wasn’t sure what to think when I was asked to photograph a couple and their Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, Louie.
When I found this family at the Nichols Arboretum waiting for me – I was so excited!
Louie’s mom & dad were soon to head west to continue their educations, and wanted some pictures to remember their year in Ann Arbor. And now that they had Louie, he had to be front & center in the pictures![]()

My friend Ruthann asked me to photograph her pretty girls and their cute cousins this summer. I’m not ashamed to admit that we did some bribing with lollipops and pushups – but it was worth it to get these great pictures. I have to say…posting these in the fall makes me really miss summer!!!
We took these pictures at their house in Ann Arbor, which overlooks a golf course – a beautiful backdrop for the session. Thanks again, Ruthann, for thinking of me to make these memories for your family!
